Delete My Data
Overview
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), data subjects have the right to request the deletion of their personal data. This page outlines the procedure for initiating and handling such requests at FliteHouse.
1. Data Subject Requests for Data Deletion
If you are a data subject wishing to exercise your right to erasure, also known as the right to be forgotten, you should make a request to have your personal data deleted. This can be done by sending an email to our Data Protection Officer (DPO) at support@flitehouse.com.
2. Contents of the Data Deletion Request Email
Your data deletion request should include the following information to help us process your request efficiently:
Your full name
Your email address associated with FliteHouse
A clear statement of your request to have your personal data deleted
It is not necessary to provide a reason for the request, as your right to have your personal data deleted is unconditional under the GDPR.
3. Handling Data Deletion Requests
Upon receiving a data deletion request, our DPO will acknowledge the request and initiate a review process. We will aim to complete this process and delete the relevant personal data within 30 days of receiving the request. If we need more time to process the request, we will inform the data subject of the extension and the reasons for it.
4. Confirmation of Data Deletion
Once the relevant personal data has been deleted, we will send a confirmation email to the data subject. If we are unable to delete some or all of the requested data, we will provide the reasons for this in the confirmation email.
